Registration of New Students 

After the admissions lottery is complete, the parent/guardian of each student who has received a winning lottery seat will receive notice of the winning drawing and an offer of acceptance. The applicant will have until the 14th day from the date that you received an offer to respond. You then have until the 21st day from the date that you "CONFIRM" placement to submit your documents via lotterease. Please be advised, the 14 days to accept and 21 days to submit documents, applies ONLY to the first initial round of selected seats. The timeline will vary thereafter. 

ALL documents must be submitted through the online portal, Lotterease. 

Please be advised, if your child(ren) applied for 2–5th, 7th or 8th grades, he/she/they will be required to take and pass the STAMP 4se in order to be considered for enrollment at The GLOBE Academy. Offer of enrollment is dependent on seat availability within the Language Track: French, Mandarin or Spanish.

Enrollment in The GLOBE Academy is only guaranteed once and if all required documentation is received by the enrollment deadline. NO EXCEPTIONS. All enrollment documents will be submitted through an online portal, Enrollease. Some documents are required to be printed, and then uploaded. See forms below.

• Georgia Immunization (Form 3231) – must be marked “Complete for K-6th Grade Attendance”.
• Child’s Social Security Card OR Social Security Waiver.
• Original or state-certified copy of child’s birth certificate OR other acceptable proof of age.
• Intent to Enroll (found within Enrollease).
• Home Language Form (HLF) - Select a form in your preferred language below and download it.

  Email your completed HLF form to: lcesol@theglobeacademy.net.
• Economically Disadvantaged. These documents are due with all enrollment paperwork. Click here to view and see if you qualify. All supporting documentation for this status selection must be emailed to: nutrition@theglobeacademy.net.
• Students who used a preference category in the lottery (sibling of enrolled student, child of full-time staff or Board member, or economically disadvantaged) must provide additional documentation to support this preference category.
• Vision, Hearing, Dental, Nutrition Health Form (DPH Form 3300) – all four sections must be completed.
• Parent’s driver’s license or other government issued photo ID.

• Proof of residency – Documentation providing proof of residency within the DeKalb County School District attendance zone is required. Proof of residency may be established with the following documents. No other documents will be accepted.

1. Current mortgage statement, no more than 30 days old.

2. Current utility bill - gas, water, or electric ONLY, no more than 30 days old. 

3. In the case of a Lease, provide BOTH of the following:
     a)  Current Lease, in the name of the parent or legal guardian
     b)  Current utility bill - gas, water or electric ONLY

4. Affidavit of Residence - Only submit if parent/guardian is not the homeowner/lessee.  Affidavit of Residence paperwork is required to be brought into the school by the homeowner and enrolling guardian.
