The GLOBE Academy uses the Lotterease online lottery system. Parents can apply online via the GLOBE website during the Open Enrollment period.
The GLOBE Academy provides multiple opportunities for students to take the STAMP assessment prior to running the lottery.
The STAMP assessments is available for rising 2nd and 3rd graders only prior to running the lottery. In order to enter into the lottery for 2nd or 3rd grades, students must pass the STAMP assessment. After the lottery has run, 2nd and 3rd grade applicants will follow the same protocol listed below for 4th-8th grades.
4th, 5th, 7th or 8th grade enrollment will be different from 2nd and 3rd grades. If your rising 4th, 5th, 7th or 8th grade student would like to be considered for the STAMP assessment, please register for our lottery during open enrollment which will create our waitlist. If space becomes available, GLOBE will look to the waitlist to offer the STAMP assessment and GLOBE will contact families directly in late spring or early summer.
Additionally, 6th grade applicants who would like to be considered for the accelerated language track will have the opportunity to take STAMP after the lottery. 6th grade applicants must be admitted through the lottery before they can be considered for the accelerated language track.
February 25, 2022
Lottery results will be emailed to all applicants and posted on The GLOBE Academy website and at the main entrance of Lower Campus.
Once offered a spot in the lottery, students will receive an email notification stating the timeframe to accept the offer, along with the requirements for bringing in official paperwork.
Language track placements are assigned based on current enrolled sibling language tracks, family language history, and student immersion history. Students are then placed in language tracks according to the number of spaces available, while creating a diverse classroom roster (gender, age, ethnicity and race). Language tracks are final and cannot be changed.
