Congratulations to the GLOBE community for a great first week of hybrid instruction! We've gone one week without any COVID-19 cases on either campus - let's see how long we can keep this going! Community transmission is no longer declining and has leveled off; it remains incredibly important to stay vigilant: keep wearing those masks over your mouth and nose, wash your hands well, and keep your distance from those who aren't in your usual pod.
As you may know, Georgia is opening COVID-19 vaccination to everyone aged 16 years and older beginning Thursday, March 24th. You can head over to the Georgia Department of Public Health's website to find vaccination locations or schedule an appointment. Widespread vaccination will be key to reducing transmission in our community - if you have questions about the COVID-19 vaccines, you can find answers to common questions here.
