Standards-based Measurement of Proficiency (STAMP) Testing

Students interested in admission for 4th and 5th grade for the 2023-2024 school year must first take the STAMP 4Se (4-Skill elementary) assessment and meet language proficiency standards before applying. This ensures that your student has enough proficiency in the target language to be successful in our language immersion program. Below are the required scores for each grade level. Once Open Enrollment is closed, 4th and 5th grade applicants will be contacted directly should a space become available.

Students who would like to be considered for 2nd, 3rd,7th or 8th grades should enter the lottery during open enrollment. Applicants for these grade levels should have prior experience in one of our target languages.

Middle school proficiency levels can qualify students for Language I/II, II, III, or IV. *Students who do not already have high school credit for I and II entering into Language III in 7th grade or IV in 8th grade may only receive high school credit for the courses completed at GLOBE.

Be advised, there is no need to study for testing, it is an evaluation tool used to determine your child(ren)’s current knowledge of one of the 3 target languages (French, Spanish, Mandarin).
