Summer Language Camp

Summer Language Camp will be a mixture of language exposure and enrichment as well as fun afternoons that will consist of arts/crafts, music, games, in-house field trips, and Fun Friday’s. 

Summer Language Camp dates

The three weeks that camp will be in session are June 8–12, June 15–19, and June 22–26.

Hours will run from 9am to 5pm.?

Carpool will begin at 8:45am for morning drop off. 
Afternoon dismissal will be at 5pm, with carpool beginning at 4:50pm.

Daily structure

Each morning, students will participate in their enrichment activities. Sessions will be led by GLOBE teachers and teacher assistants. This year, all languages will be available each week. We will be having one incoming kindergarten class each week for our newest GLOBE students. Their classes will be a welcome to GLOBE and an activity each day from one of our language teachers.

9am to 12 Noon 
Language and cultural activities: art, music, literature, games, sports, theater and more in a playful environment. 

12 Noon to 1pm 
Lunch and outside playtime. 

1pm to 5pm 
Afternoons will consist of various fun-filled activities run by our extended care staff. These will include some on-site field trips at GLOBE for students to experience. Activities are subject to change based on availability.

Registration and fees

• On Wednesday, February 11, registration will open at 6pm, online.
  *Excluding incoming kindergarten classes (see below for details). Each student must be registered separately.
• Choose the class for your child that includes the grade they are currently in, and the week they will be attending that corresponds to the language they are enrolled in at GLOBE.

Registrations will be reviewed and if they enrolled incorrectly, they will be removed from the class and you will be notified. 

*Incoming kindergarten classes 

Our incoming kindergarten classes will open in late March, 2026. An announcement will be made once the lottery and language assignments are completed.

• A registration fee of $50 will be charged per camper for summer camp enrollment. 
• Weekly tuition will be $250. A $50 non-refundable deposit will be charged when enrollment is complete and the remaining balance of $200 will be due one week prior.
• Balance due dates are June 5 (for June 8 camp), June 12 (for June 15 camp) and June 19 (for June 22 camp).

If the class you want to enroll in is full, please put your child on the waitlist and I will notify you if I am able to move them into the class as some changes are made and spaces open up.

Bus Transportation

There will be a bus transportation service available each day to and from camp, from a location yet to be determined.

If you would like to use the transportation service for Summer Language Camp, for the morning pick-up or afternoon drop off, or both, please email summercamp@theglobeacademy.com to request the service, or if you have any questions.

Please note: There is no fee for the bus service.

Cancellation policy

When you enroll your student/students there is a $50 registration fee per student and a $50 deposit that will be charged for each week they will be attending. These initial fees are non refundable. At this point your space is confirmed for your child. Any cancellation made before April 1 will incur no additional charge. Any cancellation made between April 2 and May 31 will be assessed a 25% cancellation fee. Any cancellation made after June 1 will result in a 50% cancellation fee.
