The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) is a federally assisted meal program operating in public and nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions. It provides nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free lunches to children each school day. Read more about the NSLP.
The School Nutrition program has partnered with Simply Elegant to provide lunch for the remainder of the school year. All students are eligible to receive a free school lunch. Lunch will be delivered directly to the classroom and eaten in the classroom. To ensure the safety of the students, the vendor will follow CDC guidelines by delivering no-contact grab-and-go meals during their assigned lunch period. All meals will be prepackaged prior to arriving at school. If a student forgets their lunch at home, they will receive a school lunch for the day.
