Admissions

• By random lottery for students in the DeKalb County School District for kindergarten, 1st and 6th grades.
• Availability-based for 2nd through 5th, 7th and 8th grades for students who meet proficiency standards. For grade levels with a wait list, admission is by lottery.

Our lottery for the 2026–27 school year was conducted on February 27, 2026. Although the lottery is now closed, you can add your name to the waitlist for available seats.

Student Enrollment: Approximately 1,200 students
Grades: Kindergarten through 8th Grade
Class Size: Maximum 24, with a lead teacher and assistant in every K-3 Classroom, shared assistants 4th-8th grades
Curriculum: Georgia Standards of Excellence, Georgia Frameworks
Instructional Approaches: Dual language immersion, Constructivism, Responsive Classroom
Languages Offered: French, Mandarin and Spanish
Demographics: Race/Ethnicity: 30% White, 33% African American, 6% Asian, 9% Two or more races, 0.1% American Indian, 21% Hispanic 

Breakfast and Lunch Program: Participant in the National School Lunch Program. Free/Reduced Lunch available through DeKalb County School Cafe Program. 39% student population, economically disadvantaged 

Parent Engagement: Active Parent Teacher Community Council (PTCC)

Drop-off: from 7:25am | Start time: 8:00am |. Dismissal: 2:45pm 
Please do not queue for afternoon carpool at Lower Campus until after 2:20pm.

Upper Campus: 4105 Briarcliff Road, Atlanta, GA 30345 
Drop-off: from 8:00am | Start time: 8:30am |. Dismissal: 3:40pm 
Please do not queue for afternoon carpool at Upper Campus until after 3:15pm.
