The GLOBE Academy maintains a culture of philanthropy whereby everyone works toward advancing the school's mission through participation and giving. Thank you for considering the many ways you can support GLOBE. All donations to The GLOBE Academy are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Your gifts make a huge difference in the lives of our students. GLOBE is a public charter school and receives less funding from the state and DeKalb County School District than traditional public schools. The GLOBE community — parents, board members, faculty and staff, alumni, grandparents, friends and businesses — help to bridge the gap in funding so we can always deliver exceptional learning experiences to our students. Together, we can help our students reach their true potential.

The total unrestricted fundraising goal for the 2020-2021 school year is $300,000, which includes Annual Fund, GLOBE Trot, GLOBE Rocks and Square 1 Art fundraisers. We need your help to reach this goal!

Fact: GLOBE is a charter school and needs your support.

What we ask is that you give what you can with the understanding that your child’s education is the best investment you will make.

Staff Gifts

At GLOBE, we know that it takes a village to raise our children. Staff gifts support our passionate, hard-working, dynamic teachers and staff who help your child every day.  Through these funds, GLOBE families are able to easily show appreciation directly to all the staff who interact with your child(ren). This includes your child’s homeroom teacher, their specials teachers, and their teaching assistants — in short, the many professionals who teach and care for your child every day. Cash gifts are provided through this fund at the winter holidays and at the end of the school year.

The funds are collected through a central fund managed by the PTCC. Click here to make your donation today!
