As we prepare guidance to inform a safe return, we want to hear from you and address your questions in this section of our weekly newsletter. We encourage you to review the FAQs addressed in the Reopening Committee’s presentation to GLOBE’s Board of Directors in October. If you have questions that have not been addressed, please submit them here. We will do our best to provide as many answers as we can in The COVID Corner over the coming weeks.Please understand that due to the dynamic nature of the pandemic, there may be questions for which we do not yet have answers, or situations that may change between now and January.
Please know that the Reopening Committee is working diligently to ensure a safe return, while following the most up-to-date scientific guidance. We are all in this together, and appreciate your input to help us move towards our shared goal of a safe return!
While we are closely following DeKalb County School District’s planning, GLOBE’s plans for a return-to-campus will be based on the recommendations of our independently run reopening committee to meet the needs of our community and academic dual-language immersion model.
