LC tips for GLOBE Language:
1. Step by step:
- First 6 Weeks of School are for practicing language, routines, and expectations
2. Check for schedules:
- Email/ Weekly Communications from the teacher
- Google Classroom
- Slide decks in Google Classroom
- Take note of the 20 mins. your child’s group will meet!
3. Class time is class time.
- Make an appointment with your teacher to ask specific questions about your child’s schedule.
4. Have a positive attitude towards your child’s learning process and support from home:
- Create a hand-made word wall in the language with drawings - add 3 words/phrases each week (K example: Hello, Goodbye, Good Morning)
- Listen to music in the language
- Watch familiar movies in the language
